I love meeting new people and sharing stories. I’ve always been interested in art and archaeology since I was 11 and here I am talking about my favorite things and favorite places! I also love being around nature, animals, meditation, dancing and freediving and many many more thing.
Q. What inspired you to become a guide?
I started leading tactile tours with blind and visually impaired people in 2006 for my art history graduation thesis. I loved it so much that eventually I started to transform this into a job giving tour to everyone interested in art and archeology. I still love what I do and I’m very lucky to be in the privileged position of creating memories for people from all over the planet who come to Rome and the Vatican.
Q. What do you love most about Rome?
In Rome I love the diversity. There is literally everything. For me, the weather, the sunsets, and the food are my favorite parts of Rome.
Q. What's your favorite story to tell on tour?
My favorite story is how Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. You'll have to join my tour to hear it!
I’m vegan and I love it
I love Alanis Morissette and I’ve seen her live almost 40 times!
I get around the city on my bike
Q. Best time of year to enjoy Rome?
In my opinion, I think November and mid-February are great times to visit and avoid crowds.
Q. What about Roman culture should people not miss?
Obviously the food!! Don't be afraid to try the vegan versions of all the typical Roman dishes.
Q. What do you tell your visiting friends to see in Rome?
I tell them to get lost and to visit off-the-beaten paths museums. I can tell you some favorites if you join my tour.
