The tour was well worth doing - our guide Becki was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Southwark area, seeing the markets and partaking of different foods. I thoroughly recommend the tour and will investigate Devour tours in other cities/ countries.

Terrific tour and tour guide. Lots of great info and we got to try a lot a different food. One note:
Æthelred the Unready is a misnomer. He was Æthelred Un Rad. Æthelred means "good counsel" and Un Rad meant "bad counsel", suggesting that he either gave bad counsel or received bad counsel. More accurate, but less fun than "Unready."
