We took this tour because our original one got canceled. Our tour guide Jane was great. Very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answered questions and was amazing with the dates of certain events. My only complaint would be we spent a bit too long in Westminster Abbey. Too crowded in there and we could have cut it shorter by at least 20-30 minutes because we saw all we needed to see well before that.

Our tour guide, Liz, provided us with an in-depth and interesting tour with
thorough information about historical sites including Westminster Abbey, Parliament square & its statues as well as overview of King Charles "real" house.
The shorter overviews of the Buckingham Palace (external view) and the Tower of London fortress after lunch were very good, but less compelling.

Is the Guard Change ceremony happening the day of my tour?
Please note there is no Changing of the Guard ceremony on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It may also be subject to cancellation at any time it's scheduled to happen during the week. In this event, you will get to see the Horse Guards Parade (an arguably more impressive ceremony!) and the Ceremony of the Word at the Tower of London.
Can I take pictures in Westminster Abbey?
No. You are not allowed to take any photos while inside the Abbey. If you want a picture of the interior, you have to buy a postcard in the gift shop.
Can I take a bag into Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London?
Yes, but only small bags. Please note that for security reasons your bags will also be checked before you enter. Here is a list of prohibited items:
Sharp items e.g. knives (including Swiss army knives) scissors, cutlery and screwdrivers
Paint spray
Padlocks, chains and climbing gear
Items that make a noise (e.g. whistles)
Banners, placards and flags
