Tour guide was great. Reservation did say group size would be less than 15 which was important for us. The group was closer to 30. The tour guide said there was a last minute emergency so they combined two groups. Group size was not great. If you got too far from the guide the earphones were static. Fortunately the guide was exceptional, which saved it for us! I hope the groups size was truly an exception. Great experience overall.

What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?

Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.

Is Pompeii accessible to people in wheelchairs?

The streets of Pompeii have never been repaved or smoothed over so much of the city is nearly impossible to navigate for those with mobility impairments. If you use a wheelchair there is a special route for you, so please contact our customer service department for details.

Can I bring a bag into Pompeii with me?

Only small bags are allowed into Pompeii. Larger bags or backpacks will have to be left in the luggage lockers in the train station. Tripods are also not allowed.
