Slyvia was an amazing tour guide. The tour itself was a great way to see the neighborhood and experience the food like a local. The final dinner was great with 2 full pastas per person and plenty of wine. I would recommend doing this early on in your trip to get familiar with the cuisine and culture in Rome.

Trastevere food and wine tour - Rome, Italy - 7 Aug 2024 Our group consisted of 7 adults who were all visiting Rome for the first time. We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Prior to the tour, I received great communication by email from the tour provider. Meeting point was clearly defined in email, and was located easily with Google maps. Our guide Chiara was amazing. Before the tour began, she asked if we had any food allergies or objections to certain dishes (our group was not interested in seafood, which is typical Roman cuisine). She called ahead to the restaurants and made changes to our menu to accommodate this request. Chiara was very friendly, knowledgeable, and you could tell she really cared about each restaurant we visited. Foods and wines at each restaurant we tried were delicious and carefully thought out. Trastevere has a very cool vibe about it, which added to the experience. Thank you Chiara for an amazing and memorable time.
