A very enjoyable afternoon walk with guide Anne-Lorraine. We tasted lovely cheeses, but the highlight to us was visiting a wine shop where the owner gave us a short but excellent talk about champagne. We would recommend this walk to anybody interested in history, food and wine.

David was GREAT. He was entertaining and knowledgeable. We all learned something. He took an interest in all of us, and was especially careful to ensure there were no food allergies. I would go on any tour that David led. We also met Lily, who works in the office. She was also very engaging and made us all feel warm and cared for.

Great
We were really more there for the food and our guide seemed to be much more interested in history and happened to be talking about food. He needed to put down the maps more. Also as fun as it was to go to a cheese monger and try the cheeses, it felt weird to be eating bread that had been shoved in the guide’s bag and then standing in people’s way as they were trying to shop. We went on another tour where they were able to handle this a bit more gracefully and it was much appreciated. Overall he did a nice job but it wasn’t our style.

The tour was wonderful. Our guide, Celine, was informative, funny and just a joy to be with. She was very knowledgeable on both food and wine, as well as the history of Paris. We would highly recommend the tour in general and Celine in particular.
